Being held on the 29th and 30th August 2026.
Over the weekend you will:
work in partnership with your dog
learn about mantrailing and how good it is for you and your dog
be outdoors and be physically active
have space to take reflect and grow
be able to contribute to and benefit from a group environment
have fun!
Mantrailing provides an environment where you and your dog can be yourselves and do what comes naturally. With short, guided reflections helping you to make sense of what you experience.
If you have not trained with us before you will need to fill in the Registration Form as well.
Connection begins immediately. Participants work one-to-one with their dog and alongside a small group navigating similar experiences. There is no pressure to share personal information. Connection develops through:
shared effort
mutual observation
quiet support
respect for each dog-handler partnership
This builds a sense of belonging.
Both days are active and outdoors. You will be:
walking varied terrain
standing, observing, problem-solving
physically engaged in real trailing scenarios
It simply creates clarity, focus, and steadiness.
Mantrailing enables you to be focused .
Participants are guided to notice:
what they focus on first
what assumptions are formed
how they respond
how emotions impact them
Taking take to reflect between trails
This is practical awareness.
Each trail presents new variables. Conditions change. Outcomes aren’t guaranteed.
Participants encounter:
different situations
moments of doubt
opportunities to adjust and adapt
shifts in confidence
Over the two days, people take more notice and grow in confidence - both for their dog and themselves.
Every participant plays a part in shaping the experience.
Contribution happens through:
holding space for others
offering grounded observations
respecting pace and process
giving your dog the opportunity to learn something new or build on their skill
